A: Card Controls allows you to turn your debit card on and off, manage card usage by location, merchant types and transaction types, and set transaction limits.
Q: What are the requirements for Card Controls and Alerts?

Card Controls is not available for Line of Credit and Business debit cards.
Q: If I don't edit my settings within Card Controls or Alerts, what will happen?
A: Your debit card defaults to allow all transactions to process, regardless of their type, dollar amount or location. Your Alerts will default to notify you of all transactions.

Q: How do I know the on/off selection was successful?

A: You can take advantage of the ‘FAQ – Help Topics’ available in the Johnson Bank Mobile app. Select More and Help to view the help topics. You can also call the Johnson Customer Support Center at 888.769.3796
Q: If I have my card turned off, will my reoccurring transactions still be processed?
A: Card Controls may block preauthorized reoccurring transactions if both the Auto Pay transaction type is disabled and the debit card is disabled. If the Auto Pay transaction type is enabled and the card is disabled, the transaction will process as normal. You will need to contact the merchant processing those payments if you need to stop future attempts.
Q: When I turn my debit card off, does that close my card?
A: Turning your debit card off will not close your card or the account it is attached to, but it may prevent future transactions from occurring.
Q: What if I lose my debit card? How do I get a new one?
A: If you lose or misplace your debit card, you can disable the card immediately within the Johnson Bank Mobile app, which may prevent unauthorized transactions from occurring. To close the card and have a new one issued, you must either contact your advisor or the Johnson Customer Support Center at 888.769.3796.
Q: If I am traveling should I still call Johnson Bank to notify them of my travel plans?

Q: What are Location Controls?
A: These allow you to limit debit card activity in specific geographic locations under My Regions. You can also manage your card for international use under Block International. You will still need to contact us if you're going to be traveling.
Please note: Some merchant locations may be different than the location of your mobile device, which may allow the transaction to occur and may not be blocked with Location Controls.
Q: What are Regions?
A: Regions allow you to assign each debit card up to three geographic areas. When a transaction is initiated, it compares the merchant's location within your defined regions. If the transaction occurs outside of your region(s), it may be declined.

A: You enable regions under Location Controls by tapping My Regions and sliding the bar to green. Tap Add Region and type in a Nickname and the City, State or Zip Code, then tap Search or Go on your phone's keyboard. You can zoom in and out on the map until you achieve your desired area and then tap Save.
